Taking the beagle for a walk :)

Sorry for the delay in post (Not that anyone reads this blog, yet) but anyway... I took my lovely beagle for a walk yesterday, and snapped some pretty good 3D photos... I took tons of pictures on this walk, but lets see if I can narrow it down some. (use the link at the bottom to download all these pictures in a .rar file. This file contains a folder that you need to place in your DCIM folder. please read instructions and warning at the top of the blog)

 This picture is one of my favorites! I really like how you can tell the depth of the leash. You almost get the feel your there walking my dog, when you look at this 3D photo.

This picture is really simple, and I think that's why I like it so much. You get a really good sense of the fence's placement, and how its distance becomes apparent the farther down you look.

  The tunnel effect is what I was going for with this picture, and I feel my shadow there brings a bit more of a realistic effect to the photo in 3D.

Another simple photo, in 3D the branches seem to take on an existence of there own.

These next three photos can have pretty much the same thing said about them, so I'll just sum them up all together. I really like these photos along with the very first one of this blog post, If you look at any of them on your 3DS I would hope you'd take a look at those four. The sense of depth, and the realistic effect each of these gives off is why there my favorites. I tried to use perspective in a way that you could really feel like your there, or you could truly imagine these pictures in the real world.

First set of photos

These pictures may not be very good, but there my first experience experimenting with the Nintendo 3DS's 3D camera. I hope you can see the simplistic joy that I see in them.

This is a picture of my dog Bella (Please no relation to twilight, think of beauty and the beast if anything) her left eye is a bit closed and it sorta messes with the 3D photo, but in this picture her head seems to pop out of the screen. Just the effect I wanted to attempt. 

 For this second photo I was trying to take a picture of something a bit more complicated, and the effect is rewarding. When you look at this simple house plant you get the feel of each of its leaves being there in real space.

Now, I'd really hate to show you my feet... But for my third photo I wanted to give a test in depth. When viewing this in 3D you can really tell the detail in my pants are closer and the sense of depth has an interesting feel. 

This last photo (For this post) was not really planned out. A friend of mine stopped in to drop something off the day I got my 3DS, so I snapped a picture of him outside my door. There's not much to the picture, but I think its well lit, and you can get a good sense of separation of the person, and the background.

Introduction - First Post

So as I hope you've gathered this blog is here to share what I've created with my 3DS. I would also like to find a way to make it possible for others to share what they've done.

My intentions are to try and bring daily content in the form of 3D photos, that you can put on your 3DS, and enjoy. I find it really fun to play with the Nintendo 3DS's camera, and would like to spread this new found joy.

So please I hope in anyway you find someway to enjoy your time here on this blog.
